Because we believe in honesty over fluff, here’s how returns and refunds work around here (and why it’s a little different with Printify - the supplier who prints our products).
1. Products Are Made-to-Order (So No “Buy & Return”)
All items in our shop are custom-printed after you place the order. That means we don’t accept returns or exchanges simply because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or decided your ex wasn't worth that mug after all. This is standard with print-on-demand services like Printify.
2. What If It Arrives Damaged or Defective?
We’ve got your back — if your order arrives with damage, defects, or a manufacturing error, we offer either:
- A free reprint (replacement of the exact same item), or
- A refund (returned to your Printify account balance or original payment method, depending on Printify’s policy)
But: you need to report the issue within 30 days of the product being marked delivered.Â
📸 How to report: Submit an image to us of the damage, include your order ID, and provide clear photos showing the defect or damage. There’s no need to physically return the item. You can send that information to xo.snarkyremarks@gmail.com
3. When Won’t We Issue a Refund or Reprint
Unfortunately, there are some cases we can’t cover under Printify’s policy:
- Wrong size, color, design change, or “I just changed my mind.”
- Normal, minor differences in print placement (there is a tolerance of ~0.5") that are within accepted manufacturing variation.Â
- Items reported past the 30-day window.
- Items that match the listing description (i.e. they arrived “as shown”).
4. How to Request a Return / Refund (Step-by-Step)
Contact us at hello@snarkyremarks.shop within 30 days of delivery.
- Tell us your order number and which item is problematic.
- Send clear photos (and video if possible) showing the defect or damage.
- We’ll submit the issue with Printify and await their response.
- If you choose reprint, we’ll order the replacement and ship it at no extra charge to you.
5. Unsuccessful Deliveries & Other Edge Cases
- If the order is returned to sender (because of an invalid address, for example), we may refund the product cost, but shipping fees may not be covered.
- If the order is never fulfilled or printed (because it was canceled early), we can offer a refund.
- If something goes wrong with the reprint or replacement, we’ll provide a full refund.
6. Why This Policy Exists
- POD items are uniquely made for you — we can’t resell a used or altered product.
- Taking back items costs extra time, shipping, and handling — which would drive up our prices.
- Transparency and trust matter: we aim for high quality, but when mistakes happen, we’ll own them and make it right.
